At the maiden meeting of the Supreme Bilteral Council, chaired by the presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the two leaders signed the Treaty on Allied Ties and adopted the Minutes of the meeting of the Council and oversaw the signing of bilateral documents:

  • Intergovernmental Treaty on Labor Activity and Protection of Citizens' Rights;
  • Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs for 2025-2026;
  • Action Plan for Expanding Trade, Economic and Investment Cooperation;
  • Protocols on Cooperation in Preschool, Vocational, Secondary Specialized, Higher Education and Science;
  • Roadmap for Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation for 2024-2026;
  • Action Plan in the Field of Tourism for 2024-2026;
  • Cooperation Program between the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of Azerbaijan for 2024-2026;
  • Protocol on cooperation between the Center for Advanced Studies of Lawyers under the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the National Guard of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan;
  • Protocol on cooperation between forensic centers.

During the visit, cooperation agreements were also signed between Tashkent and Baku, Shakhrisabz and Beylagan, Jizzakh and Guba, and other bilateral documents.
