Uzbek-Chinese tourism business forum took place in Samarkand on June 18. According to Uzbektourism.uz, the forum was dedicated to promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential in China and boosting business ties between tourism industries of the two countries.
About 200 delegates of the tourism sector of Uzbekistan and China attended the business forum, including those who flew from Xi'an to Samarkand on the first regular flight of the LoongAir airline on June 16.
From September of this year, we will launch the Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in China, - said the chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shodiev.
The forum featured B2B meetings where, the current situation and prospects of the tourism sector were discussed, new opportunities for cooperation between Uzbekistan and China were explored.
