On June 11, the ceremony was held at Romitan District Medical Unit and Peshkun District Medical Association of Bukhara region to hand over the medical equipment equivalent to a total amount of about 182,000 US dollars, provided within the framework of the "Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects" of the Government of Japan.
Within the framework of Japan's cooperation, the hospitals were provided with X-Ray device and equipment for operation room, enabling more safe and accurate diagnostics and surgeries.
Japan attaches great importance to the concept of "Human Security", which contributes to the creation of a society where everyone can live happily and with dignity. The Embassy of Japan will continue to cooperate in improving access to high-quality medical services in Uzbekistan.
