Shavkat Mirziyoyev yesterday issued a decree appointing Shukhrat Sadikov as the director of the newly created National Project Management Agency under the President of Uzbekistan.
Prior to this appointment, Shukhrat Sadikov (48 years old) was since 2010 the head of the Cabinet of Ministers Analytical Department for Information Systems and Telecommunications.
Earlier in 2008-2010 he worked as director general at UzbekTelecom, and in 2006-2008 was deputy director general.
The National Agency for Project Management was established by the July 24 Presidential decree. The decree provides for the introduction of modern forms and methods of monitoring and development of decision-making mechanisms based on the principles of project management.
