President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Dubai (UAE) on November 30 - December 2, where he will attend the UN conference on climate change, the presidential press service said.
The global climate summit will also be attended by heads of state and government from more than 150 countries, heads of international organizations and financial institutions.
The agenda of the event includes the implementation of the main provisions of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, countering climate challenges and threats, and broad international cooperation to promote the goals and objectives of the green development.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will address the summit, and will also hold a number of bilateral meetings and negotiations.
Uzbekistan joined the UN Framework Convention in 1993. In 2018, the country became a party to the Paris Agreement.
