The Ministry of Energy reported that a number of agreements were reached between the energy ministries and companies of the two countries within the framework of the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
In particular, in 2023, Kazakhstan will deliver 300,000 tons of oil and oil products to Uzbekistan. As part of the 150 million dollar deal, the volume of oil supply will increase to 3 million tons per year.
Also, an agreement worth $9 million was reached on the transit of 300,000 tons of Russian oil through the territory of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in 2023.
