"Very soon we will issue 100,000 soum notes. This might spark inflation, but we have raised the interest rate by two percent to curb it,” an official of the CBU told The Tashkent Times.
“As you can see, we are providing real inflation figures, and we are working based on the real figures and statistics. The soum will soon recover against the dollar and the euro," he added.
