The State Assets Management Agency (SAMA) presented a list of the most profitable and loss-making companies in which the state owns a stake in 2020.
According to AUGA, currently there are 2,578 state-owned enterprises in the country. Of these, 675 are inactive, are in the process of liquidation or are being sold by installments.
According to the analysis of financial statements for the last year, out of 1903 companies that submitted reports, a list of 20 companies with the highest net profit (total - 9.5 trillion soums) and 10 companies with the largest losses (total 6.1 trillion soums) was formed.
Thus, Olmaliq Mining and Metallurgical Plant was recognized as the most profitable enterprise, and Uztransgaz was recognized as the most loss making.
