In January-October, Uzbekistan exported US$ 4.04 billion worth of gold, 2.6 times increase compared to 2018, the State Statistics Committee said. While, the gold’s share in Uzbekistan’s exports was at 27.3%.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. Gold exports totaled US$ 823.9 million in 2015, US$ 738.2 million in 2016, US$ 1.6 billion in 2017 and US$ 2.91 billion in 2018.
