Uzbekneftegaz and Russian Tatneft have signed an agreement on exploration at the Pritashkent investment block. The document was signed on the sidelines of the 23rd "Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU-2019 International Exhibition and Conference in Tashkent. The agreement provides for the expansion of the partnership in the field of geological exploration in the Pritashkent investment block.
“The OGU 2019 International Exhibition and Conference is a major event, which is organized at the highest level,” noted Nail Maganov, the Director General of Tatneft.
"Cooperation with Uzbekistan has been developing all along the year. The start was the visit of the government delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan to Uzbekistan, the highest level meetings and the reached agreements. The outcome is our presence at this major event. One of the Agreements was signed, providing for exploration at the field of the Pritashkent block This is what we have a lot of experience and knowledge in, in particular, in the exploitation of depleted fields. I would like to say that our cooperation is not limited to mining. It has been develops in many other areas, including the humanitarian and scientific areas. We work in many other countries. In Uzbekistan, we are faced with such goodwill, with such degree of willingness for cooperation. This is totally new experience for us. And I think this is a guarantee our future joint victories," he said.
