President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Surkhandarya province to familiarize himself with the progress of social and economic reforms and the fulfillment of previously set tasks, the President’s press service reported.
The Surkhandarya province has a considerable economic potential. The projects that are being implemented will help tap this potential, raise the well-being of the population.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reportedly began his trip to with a visit to a silkworm nursery of Inter Silk Pro, a joint venture in Termez district.
The presentation of other agriculture projects, in particular greenhouses, pomegranate, walnut cousinia and pistachio plantations, intensive gardens and vineyards, pisciculture and poultry complexes, and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for land measuring were also held here.
