Iranian Zagros Airlines has obtained authorization to fly to Uzbekistan on Monday, the Civil Aviation Agency of Uzbekistan said.
The airline will now reportedly operate Tehran to Tashkent direct flights.
Zagros Airlines is an Iranian airline headquartered in Tehran and based at Abadan International Airport.
Founded in 2005, the company operates flights to Iraq, the UAE, Turkey, Kuwait and Bahrain. Its fleet size is estimated at 30 aircrafts and includes 170- to 180-seat Airbus and McDonnell Douglas aircrafts, as well as Embraers.
