During his trip to Samarkand province, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended a commissioning and launch ceremony of projects, the presidential press service said.
$7 billion worth of 106 projects were commissioned and the construction launched at the ceremony.
By pressing a symbolic button, Shavkat Mirziyoyev launched the commissioning of major projects and the construction of new ones in Samarkand province. These include projects in the mining and geological industries, construction materials production, automotive, chemical, electrical, and agricultural sectors, as well as in education, healthcare, services, and tourism sectors.
53 joint projects worth $2.4 billion have been launched with companies based in Austria, China, the UAE, Turkey, India, and Russia.
Furthermore, construction has begun on 53 projects worth $4.6 billion in cooperation with companies from the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, China, the UAE, Turkey, Russia, and Iran.
