Tashkent hosted the Italy-Central Asia (C5)+Azerbaijan business forum, which featured presentations by high-ranking guests from Italy, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan delivered remarks and shared their perspectives.
In their remarks, they emphasized that one of the key challenges today was applying of innovations in agriculture, the rational use of land and water resources, and development of solutions for adaptation to climate change.
They emphasized that strengthening regional and international cooperation, attracting investment, and expanding the exchange of best practices and technologies would help create sustainable agroecosystems and ensure food security.
The business forum culminated in the signing of a final accord, which reflected important agreements aimed at enhancing cooperation in agriculture and agrifood.
