Uzbek pecialists are completing the reconstruction of the Afghanistan’s Mazar-e-Sharif airport, said Daniyar Kurbanov, Director of the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, speaking at the II Central Asian Conference of the Valdai International Discussion Club, TASS reported.
Kurbanov underscored that Tashkent was doing a lot to restore Afghanistan as a historical bridge between Central and South Asia.
“Afghanistan receives more than 30% of imports through the Uzbek transport and logistics hub in Termez. Uzbekistan is supplying electricity to Kabul,” he said.
