The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a month-long initiative called "Visa Focus" (Dolzarb Viza), the ministry's press service said.
During this period, Uzbek diplomatic missions and consulates abroad will intensify negotiations with international partners. The objective is to expand travel opportunities for Uzbek nationals traveling overseas.
The initiative will place a primary emphasis on establishing visa-free travel regimes, developing electronic visa systems, and simplifying overall visa application procedures.
The ministry stated that this initiative aligns directly with the "Uzbekistan–2030" national strategy approved by the president. The month-long push is designed to create more seamless and convenient conditions for international travel for nationals of Uzbekistan.
