Three individuals who rode horses along a main road in central Tashkent at night have been identified by law enforcement and summoned to the police department for a preventive discussion. Expressing regret for their actions, they promised not to repeat the behavior.
The incident took place in the Shaykhontohur district, and a video of the occurrence sparked widespread debate on social media. The viral footage shows three riders traveling along the right lane of the road at night, refusing to give way to oncoming cars. The vehicle filming the scene appeared to be traveling at a speed of approximately 60 kilometers per hour.
Following the online backlash, law enforcement officers identified the individuals involved and brought them into the police station. According to officials, the riders admitted to their actions, expressed remorse for their mistake, and pledged to avoid such behavior in the future. The police department reminded the public that riding horses on public roads poses a severe danger not only to the riders themselves but also to the lives and health of other motorists and pedestrians. Consequently, authorities have urged all citizens to strictly adhere to traffic regulations.
