During his working visit to Astana on May 29, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended a signing ceremony for a comprehensive road map to execute newly finalized bilateral investment and trade agreements.
This strategic roadmap outlines setting up of joint ventures across a broad range of sectors, including automotive manufacturing, energy, chemical production, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, logistics, construction materials, residential housing development, and agriculture.
The finalized document serves as an operational blueprint to materialize the critical agreements forged during the two leaders' high-level summits held earlier in April and May in the cities of Bukhara and Turkistan.
Following the ceremony, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev concluded the scheduled itinerary of his working visit to the Kazakh capital.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed from Astana International Airport bound for Tashkent. He was seen off by Serik Zhumangarin, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan, alongside other senior state officials.
