President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

"I offer my most sincere, heartfelt congratulations to you, dear compatriots, to all the Muslims of our country, and to our entire nation on this glorious celebration - the holy holiday of Eid al-Adha," the message reads at its opening.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that Eid al-Adha - a celebration of peace, compassion, and generosity - perfectly embodies the noble ideals and virtues at the heart of our sacred religion. Today, it has become even more meaningful and cherished by everyone, beautifully aligning with the core humanitarian spirit of the comprehensive, wide-ranging reforms being carried out across our country.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that in recent years, efforts to study and promote Uzbekistan's ancient history, rich cultural traditions, the intellectual and spiritual legacy of our great scholars and thinkers, and the true, enlightened essence of Islam have reached an entirely new level.

"This is vividly reflected in unique monuments that stand as modern wonders of the New Uzbekistan. Among them are the Center of Islamic Civilization in our grand capital, which recently opened its doors to our citizens and guests; the Imam Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand; and the Burhanuddin Marginani Scientific, Educational, and Tourism Complex in the city of Margilan. Beyond any doubt, all of these represent crucial, historic steps toward building the New Uzbekistan, inspiring us to move forward with even greater unity and dedication," the President stated.

At the same time, he extended his warm greetings to all Hajj pilgrims on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, praying that Almighty Allah accepts their sacred devotion and prayers.

"We hope that upon returning from their holy pilgrimage, these esteemed compatriots will act as ambassadors of goodwill and enlightenment, actively participating in the spiritual and educational life of our families, neighborhoods, and society as a whole," the president stated.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also conveyed his warmest congratulations to Muslim friends and partners in various countries around the world, wishing them peace, progress, and prosperity.

"Dear compatriots! To celebrate Eid al-Adha, a multi-day holiday period has been designated again this year. We express our special gratitude to those citizens who, even during these festive days, are responsibly performing their duties in public service or guarding the borders of our Motherland. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to our compatriots studying and working abroad. Praise be to Almighty Allah for bringing our people together in peace, safety, and solidarity on this blessed occasion! May the Almighty always protect our nation under His care! A blessed Eid al-Adha to all!" the message concluded.
