The Tashkent mayor signed an order on turning on centralized heating in social facilities in the capital on November 3rd, and in residential buildings from November 5 based on weather forecast. the press service of the city mayor’s office said.

It should be noted that, according to procedure in place, heating season shall begin after average daily outdoor temperature has been below +8 degrees Celsius for five consecutive days.

Uzhydromet earlier reported that a cold and relatively humid air mass will move into the northern provinces of Uzbekistan from Monday, November 3, and from November 4-6 across the entire territory of the country. From November 3-5th, it will rain in some areas, turning into snow in foothill and mountainous areas. From November 4-6th, the air temperature will gradually decrease at night to 0…+3 degrees, with possible frosts in some areas, and during the day to +8…+13 degrees.

New prices for heating and hot water will take effect in Tashkent city from November 12th. For households, the price will rise by 15%, for legal entities by 40%, and for budget-financed organizations by 19%.
