The President Mirziyoyev issued the Measures to regulate the implementation of national policies in the field of civil aviation Decree Tuesday.
The following main target figures for the civil aviation sector development strategy 2030 have been identified, including:
- bringing the number of passengers served by air transport to 24 million;
- bringing the number of international and domestic flights to 200 thousand;
- bringing the fleet of aircraft of resident airlines of Uzbekistan to 180.
Contributions from the State Budget for the up-keep of the Uzaaviation Agency shall be scrapped starting from January 1, 2026.
From the next year, the 20 percent allocation from the net profit of the Uzaeronavigation Center State Enterprise to the Civil Aviation Agency Development Fund shall also be canceled.
