The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the US President's Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor and the First Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau Monday, the presidential press service said.
The parties reportedly discussed the ways to advance the Uzbek-American strategic partnership ties and the progress of agreements reached at the highest level in New York on September 23.
They also stressed the importance of advancing the projects in the areas of industry, finance, critical minerals, energy, digitalization, agriculture and other priority areas based on the approved roadmap.
In addition, the sides discussed partnerships in the areas of security, combating terrorism and extremism, as well as illegal migration and exchange views on the global and regional agenda.
They also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events, including those within the framework of the C5+1 Summit scheduled for the next week in Washington.
