Nearly 5.2 million Uzbeks traveled abroad for tourist purposes in January-August 2025, the National Statistics Committee said today.
Reportedly, this figure increased by almost 1.1 million people, or 26.8%, to the same period last year.
The top 10 destinations visited by Uzbeks in 8 months of this year:
- Kyrgyzstan - 2.3 million people;
- Kazakhstan - 956 thousand;
- Tajikistan - 887.9 thousand;
- Russia - 312.7 thousand;
- Turkey - 181.7 thousand;
- Saudi Arabia - 165.7 thousand;
- UAE - 94.2 thousand;
- Egypt - 45.4 thousand;
- Vietnam - 28.5 thousand;
- China - 27.6 thousand.
