Cooperation Roadmap between Uzbekistan and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) was signed in Vienna on the margins of the 69th session of the General Conference of the IAEA Thursday.
The Roadmap was signed by the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and the Energy Minister Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov.
The Roadmap outlines strategic areas for cooperation and covers goals such as developing the national nuclear energy infrastructure, expanding the use of nuclear technologies in medicine, agriculture and ecology, improving nuclear and radiation safety, as well as training and retraining national personnel.
