The authorities are planning to introduce the Chinese language into the education system, announced Shavkat Mirziyoyev at a government meeting today.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that during his visit to China, a $35 billion worth of projects had been formed with the participation of CEOs of dozens of major Chinese energy, geology, chemistry, transport, agriculture and water management companies.
According to him, to implement these projects, Uzbekistan will need thousands of personnel who are proficient in technology and the Chinese language. More than 100 native Chinese speakers and volunteers will be deployed to teach the Mandarin in universities, technical schools and schools in the country.
To implement China's experience in vocational training, it is planned to set up two Uzbekistan-China Workshops in every province of Uzbekistan.
I am concerned about how to create conditions for our youth to master skills and have a stable income. If we achieve the above, there will be no poor or unemployed in neighborhoods, he stressed.
