Today on August 22, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has accepted the invitation of the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and will land Turkmenistan on a business visit to attend the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan trilateral summit, the presidential press service said.
The Summit will be hosted by the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The parties are expected to discuss the ways to enhance cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic, transport and communications, energy and humanitarian areas, with a number of trilateral accords expected to be signed.
On the sidelines of the summit the Uzbek leader will also hold bilateral talks.
