The Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov host the CEO of Qatari investment company Protocol Capital Group Ahmad Abdulla Al Jufairi Thursday. The parties explored the opportunities to expand partnership in key sectors of the Uzbek economy.
Al-Jufairi voiced interest in investing in energy, housing construction, IT, transportation secttors of the Uzbek economy and stressed the company’s readiness to develop proposals aimed at sustainable growth, digitalization, and infrastructure development.
Furthermore, he held talks with Minister of Transport Ilhom Mahkamov. The sides focused on transport infrastructure projects and initiatives to implement digital technologies in the transportation sector.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed the development of the road network, according to the Ministry of Transport. They also reviewed potential formats for joint projects and models for long-term participation.
