The Yunusabad District Criminal Court heard a case against a man who tried to rob a bank with a toy gun. According to the defendant, he did not know that the bank branch had CCTV cameras and security. He also voiced regret for what he had done. The bank employee who suffered from the defendant's actions stated that she had not filed a lawsuit against him and asked for the punishment as per laws.
The prosecution requested 9 years of imprisonment for the man. The court found the man guilty under Robbery charge and sentenced him to 5 years of imprisonment in a general colony.
