The Departments of the Presidential Administration has yet been again reorganized. Alisher Samadov was appointed to the position of head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Presidential Administration. Before that, he had served as deputy adviser to the president on legal expertise and comprehensive analysis.

Previously, the former head of the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis Bekzot Mavlonov, under whom Samadov had served as a deputy, became an aide to the president.

Doniyor Kadirov was appointed to the position of head of the Department for Public Security and Rule of Law of the Presidential Administration. Before that, he held the position of adviser to the president on coordination of law enforcement and regulatory agencies.

Previously, he also served as deputy minister of internal affairs in charge of security at tourism and transport facilities. Before that, he was the head of the Main Department for Transport Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Chairperson of the Culture and Arts Development Fund Gayane Olegovna Umerova has been appointed head of the Department of Creative Economy and Tourism of the Presidential Administration. For this reason, she has been relieved of her position as deputy head of the Department of Social Development of the Presidential Administration.

The President’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov will have a dual position - he has become the head of the Communications Department of the Presidential Administration and will keep the president’s spokesman job.

Nodirjon Abdukunduzovich Abdurakhimov has been appointed head of the Department for the Preparation of Analytical Content for Meetings and Trips to the Provinces. Previously, he held the position of head of the Department of Planning and Information Support of the Presidential Administration.

Bobur Khodjaev has been appointed head of the Department of Financial Technologies, Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence of the Presidential Administration. Previously, he had served as Deputy Advisor to the President on Economic Development, and before that as the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance.

Zelimkhan Khaidarov has been appointed head of the Office of the Presidential Administration. He served as the Chief of Staff of the Office of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov for 23 years (1993-2016), and then held the same position in the Presidential Administration (2016-2018). Since August 2018, he had served as the head of the Financial and Economic Department of the Presidential Administration.

Ella Dzhakhangirova has been appointed head of the Department for the Organization of Events of the Presidential Administration and, in connection with this, has been relieved of the position of Deputy Chief of Protocol of the President.

As previously reported, the President approved the new structure of his administration. 284 staff positions have been cut in the Presidential Administration and its system organizations. Five positions of deputy heads of the Presidential Administration have been introduced, new departments have been created, including public security and the rule of law, as well as digitalization and artificial intelligence.
