The Deputy Foreign Minister Olim Abdullayev hgosted the Deputy Director of Charite University Clinic in Berlin Dr. Joachim Seibold.
According to the Ministry, at the beginning of the meeting, the parties explored the ways to enhance medical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany, in particular, the opportunities for hiring nurses for jobs in Germany, as well as the development of educational and scientific exchange.
The Charite University Clinic was founded in 1710 and is one of the most renowned medical institutions in Germany and Europe. It includes 4 campuses, more than 100 clinical and scientific departments. It employs 18,700 employees, including 5,000 doctors and researchers. It serves 800,000 patients per year.
