Uzbekistan passport ranked 68th in the updated Passport Index, the popular global ranking of the world's passports prepared by Arton Capital, the global advisory for residence and citizenship solutions.

The Index ranks national passports by the cross-border access they bring, assigning a "visa-free score" according to the number of countries a passport holder can visit visa-free or with visa on arrival.

Uzbeks may visit 32 countries visa-free, get visa in 46 countries upon arrival, while 120 countries require visas.

Last year, Uzbeks were allowed to visit visa-free the UAE, Thailand, Oman, Pakistan, and an agreement was also entered into with China scheduled to take effect in mid-2025.

Kazakhstan is the top country among the Central Asian countries in 52nd place (visa-free in 46 countries), Kyrgyzstan - 68th (visa-free in 32 countries), Tajikistan - 72nd (visa-free in 27 countries), Turkmenistan - 76th (visa-free in 18 countries).

The UAE tops the rating, followed by Spain, while 14 countries are in third place: Finland, France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Norway, Greece and Ireland.

Syria is placed the last with visa-free in 9 countries.
