Uzavtosanoat presented statistics on sales of cars of local manufacturers in Uzbekistan for January-September 2024. It includes cars manufactured or assembled in Uzbekistan, including CPU (fully assembled cars ready for sale).

In the first nine months, local manufacturers sold 303,373 cars in the country.

UzAuto Motors became the sales leader, having sold 271.22 thousand passenger cars. The manufacturer's best-selling models were Cobalt (99,577 units), Damas (71,875) and Tracker (31,736).

In second place with a share of 6.5% is ADM Jizzakh, which assembles and produces Kia, Chery, Haval and Hyundai Truck & Bus cars in Uzbekistan. The company sold 19.77 thousand cars, the most of which were Kia (12,549 units), including 3,360 Kia Sonet cars.

The third place was taken by BYD Uzbekistan Factory with a share of 3.8%. The sales volume for nine months topped 11.58 thousand hybrid and electric vehicles. The best-selling models are: BYD Song Plus Champion DM-i - 4668, BYD Chazor - 2860 and BYD Song Plus DM-i - 1637.

Following are Jizzakh Avto (a plant for the production of passenger and commercial vehicles Volkswagen and Škoda, owned by Uzavtosanoat), Asaka Motors and SamAuto (a plant with a share of Uzavtosanoat and Isuzu), which occupy 0.1% of the market share each. They represent the brands Volkswagen Jetta - 228 sold cars, Exeed - 132, Isuzu D-Max - 194.

Asaka Motors plans to produce Hyundai models - Elantra, Tucson, Sonata, Santa Fe, Palisade and Staria, and is also the official distributor of the Hyundai, Iveco, Fiat, Opel, Alfa Romero, Exeed brands. The founder of the company is Tokhirjon Zhalilov, who headed GM Uzbekistan in 2010-2016, and then worked as deputy chairman of Uzavtosanoat.

Recall that in 2023, UzAuto Motors took 81% of the share in the automobile market of Uzbekistan with the production of 369.99 thousand cars for $ 4.85 billion. ADM Jizzakh was able to get 5.5%, and the rest comes from imports, including the import of 8948 BYD cars for $ 291 million.
