Explosion occurred at a CNG filling station along the Guzar-Karshi road in the Karshi district of the Kashkadarya province Monday at 15:45, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
During the filling of a KAMAZ-512 vehicle with gas, the gas-air mixture exploded, which resulted in a fire.
Four fire and rescue crews arrived at the scene at 16:00 and completely extinguished the fire at 16:45.
As a result of the fire, the roof of the station building was damaged over an area of 22 square meters. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are no casualties or fatalities.
The causes of the fire and the extent of the damage are being studied. Senior staff of the provincial and district emergency departments have arrived at the scene.
