Parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismailov will visit the Russian Federation on February 19-20.
According to the visit program, meetings are scheduled of the Uzbek delegation with the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin and the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko.
In the upcoming meetings, the parties will focus on the ways to expand and strengthen inter-parliamentary relations and strengthening cooperation in this area.
It is also envisaged that the first meeting of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation between the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan and the Russian State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will take place.
This visit was planned during the meeting of the members of the delegation of the Russian Parliament in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (November 2022).
