The Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is in Goa, India, met yesterday with the Foreign Minister of India, Subramanyam Jaishankar.
"We met with His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India Subramanyam Jaishankar and summarized the steadily developing Uzbekistan-India ties," wrote the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Reportedly, the parties thoroughly exchanged views on a number of areas for advancing future relations, with a special emphasis on strengthening the economic and cultural spheres, active interregional cooperation.
The Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov visited India to attend the next SCO Foreign Ministers Council meeting on May 4-5.
