164 firms with Turkish investment, 119 firms with Russian investment and 78 firms with Kazakh investment were founded In January-April 2021.
As of May 1, 2021, the number of foreign-invested firms and organizations in Uzbekistan topped 13 thousand, of which 12.5 thousand are operating.
According to Statistics Committee, the number of foreign-invested firms increased by 1,557 compared to the same period last year.
Currently, the number of firms with foreign capital by the country:
- Russia - 2,199,
- China - 1,867,
- Turkey - 1,714,
- Kazakhstan - 991,
- Korea - 894.
Also, the number of newly founded foreign-invested firms in January-April 2021 by countries is as follows:
- Turkey - 164,
- Russia - 119,
- China - 94,
- Kazakhstan - 78,
- Korea Republic - 28.
