Samsung brand refrigerators will be manufactured on the territory of the Tashkent tech-park, Uzeltehsanoat (Uz Electrical Technical Industry) said.
The tech-park, Uzeltehsanoat and Samsung Electronics signed a memorandum yesterday. The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy PM Elyor Ganiev and company president Hyun Suk Kim.
The plant will be located at the Tashkent Mechanical Plant, while the construction work has already been commenced. The parties plan that 80% of refrigerators will be marketed to the CIS countries.
