The Uzbekistan-UAE Business Forum and Matchmaking Session took place today in Tashkent. The UAE delegation, led by the senior executives of Dubai ExportS company, included more than 30 executives of 17 companies of construction industry, food, packaging, pharmaceuticals and government institutions.
Speakers at the Forum highlighted the mutual interest in increasing trade, launching new energy, pharmaceuticals, engineering, consultancy, industry and building materials joint ventures.
During the B2B meetings, the sides discussed prospects for further boosting the Uzbek-UAE trade ties and economic cooperation.
Note: In 2018, the two-way trade between Uzbekistan and the UAE increased by 23%, reaching US$ 141.5 million.
