The National research and production company FONON and South Korean Hwachon Plant-Gemco signed an agreement on setting up of a joint venture manufacturing jewelry in Tashkent.
The JV setting agreement was signed in Seoul by the director general of FONON Mukhsin Ashurov and the executive director of Hwachon Plant - Gemco Shik Shin Cheol . The signing ceremony was held on the eve of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea.
The company's authorized capital, created on a parity basis, will amount to $30 million, the media center on coverage of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea said.
