Uzbekistan held Senegal, 1-1 in a friendly in Casablanca, Marocco on Friday. Uzbekistan was a better side for the most of the first half against Senegal’s experimental line-up, with Sadio Mané, Moussa Sow and Mbaye Niang on the bench and even managed to open the score through Shukurov’s penalty 19 min into the game.

Very sure of their game, the Uzbeks countered all the attempts of the Senegalese, who were far from being dangerous.

At the break, Uzbekistan led by 1 goal to 0. After the break, the Senegalese sieged the Uzbekistan’s goal without finding the flaw. However, in the 63 minute Moussa Konaté managed to equalize after being ideally served by Santi Ngom. At the end of the match, the bar saved the Lions when Bikmayev shot one on one against goalkeeper.
