Innovative Vaccine Center will be set up in Tashkent province, Uzbekistan, the only one in Central Asia. Online meeting was held between the Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurakhmanov and the head of Luye Investment Group Co. Ltd. On the sidelines of the SCO summit on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Innovative Development, together with the company, signed a memorandum on the setting up of a $100 million Innovative Vaccine Center in 2023-2028.

The Center will be the only full-cycle biotechnological enterprise in Central Asia that will allow delivering high-tech products to the market of the country and the CIS countries.

The center will be designed to produce 200 million doses of 10 different vaccines for the treatment of hepatitis A, hepatitis B, papillomavirus, measles, tetanus and other diseases worth total of $2 billion.
