The Uzbek Labor Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov met with the with a Japanese delegation including Mr. Kazumi Maeda, Director of the Chuo Sangyo Shinko Association, Mr. Haruka Komine, President of Three Concier Co., Ltd., Mr. Masao Otani, Director of the Social Security Corporation Kinunokai,  Mr. Hirokazu Kimura, President of Medical Brain Co., Ltd., Mr. Hidemichi Ota, Manager at Wolf Arden Social Security Corporation and Mr. Tatsuki Kimura, Manager at PRIEM Social Security Corporation.

In the meeting was also present the chief of the Agency for External Labor Migration Kh. Asamov.

The sides discussed the matters related to recruitment of Uzbek nationals to social security institutions at large Japanese companies, opening in Ferghana province of a Training Center for Personnel to be recruited to Japanese labor market and signing of a Memorandum between the Agency for External Labor Migration and Japanese companies to hiring Uzbek nationals to Japanese labor market.

The Minister Abdukhakimov noted that the Uzbek side is ready to provide the Japanese labor market with the required personnel on Germany and Turkey’s experience in the field of labor migration, which had a significant impact on the development of the economies of both countries.

In turn, the Japanese side expressed gratitude for the organization of this meeting. Mr. Kazumi Maeda briefed the Uzbek side on the needs of Japan's labor market.

Currently Japan requires skilled medical staff and until November 2017 is ready to recruit 35 Uzbek nationals to social security institutions, and about 1 thousand within a year.

The Japanese language proficiency minimum level for medium and junior medical staff is 4.

The Minister of Labor instructed the Agency on External Labor Migration to begin arrangements as soon as possible on recruitment of candidates for labor migration to Japan.

The candidates will be selected by the Agency for External Labor Migration in line with the recent Japanese Law on appropriate implementation of the technical internship program for foreign nationals and on ensuring the protection of foreign technical trainees.

As part of the visit, the Japanese delegation will visit a number of colleges and Sahovat nursing home in Tashkent.
