On June 20, a meeting was held at the Consular and Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan with Oleg Kostyuk, Advisor to the Representative Office of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Passport and Visa Service" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.
During the meeting, Oleg Kostyuk was presented with a certificate of official accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Oleg Kostyuk thanked for the accreditation, noting that the mission intended not only to actively participate in the "pilot project" to attract Uzbek labor migrants, but also to provide citizens with various services, including consulting and information.
The main area of the Passport and Visa Service is provision of information and consulting services in the field of migration to individuals and legal entities, as well as the processing of applications and other documents that are submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Currently, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan is cooperating with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Passport and Visa Service" on a "pilot project" to attract 10,000 builders to Russia.
The "pilot project" is aimed at optimizing the mechanism for the entry of labor migrants into Russia, improving the skills of specialists, taking into account the needs of employers, as well as carrying out the necessary procedures for the departure of citizens to Russia. All necessary medical and legal procedures, qualification exams for the attracted Uzbek specialists are held in Tashkent.
