The Senate will convene for the twenty-sixth plenary session on May 28. Senators will consider the State Civil Service Bill, Procedures for the Withdrawal of Land Plots for Public Needs with Compensation Bill and amendments to legislative acts “in connection with the improvement of the system for ensuring equality and transparency in land relations, reliable protection of land rights and turning them into marketable asset”.
In addition, the findings of a parliamentary inquiry sent to the Cabinet of Ministers on the work carried out in Karakalpakstan on the use of solar and wind energy in the sectors of the economy, social facilities and residential premises will be considered.
The senators will also discuss the results of a parliamentary inquiry to the government on the development of national content for young people and minors on the Internet, the culture of using social networks and protection from harmful information.
Another request that was sent to the government was about the state of protection of women's labor rights at enterprises in the light and leather industries. The results of the meeting will also be considered.
The Senate Committee on the Development of the Aral Sea Region and Ecology will present a report on activities in 2021 and the first quarter of 2022.
