Toshshahartranskhizmat (government body responsible for Tashkent transport) reported that entrance to public buses and electric buses will now be through the front door, while exiting through the middle and back doors.
At the entrance, one will have to pay for the fare using a transport card, or in cash.
On some electric buses, the front doors are marked with a green frame, the middle and rear doors with a red frame.
The solution will allow in the future - with a full transition to electronic fare payment - to get rid of fare inspectors.
