In Uzbekistan, the number of doses of coronavirus vaccines has reached 70 million, the Ministry of Health said, with a total of about 53 million doses administered, of which:
- 2,606,080 doses of AstraZeneca;
- 48,169,038 doses of ZF-UZ-VAZ 2001 (of which 6172,770 doses were produced in Uzbekistan);
- 10,688,860 doses of Moderna;
- 4,626,180 doses of Pfizer/BioNTech;
- 1,976,000 doses of Sinovac;
- 1,341,790 doses of Sputnik V;
- 343,375 doses of Sputnik Light.
The reserve of vaccines is 16 million 200 thousand doses, the ministry added.
On May 12, the Ministry of Health cited data that the planned coverage of the population with the first dose is at 94.6%, while 76.9% were fully vaccination.
In October, the Ministry of Health said how many vaccinated people fell ill with coronavirus in the country. Since the start of mass vaccination (April 1), out of all those infected with coronavirus, only 285 cases, or about 0.3%, have received the vaccine, Nurmat Atabekov, deputy head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Service, said.
