The Almaty to Tashkent high-speed train service on Tulpar-Talgo was resumed as of May 16, 2022. According to the Uzbekistan Ministry of Transport, the train, which for the first time after a two and a half year hiatus left for to Uzbekistan, arrived at the Central Railway Station of Tashkent at 11:05 yesterday.
The train has 24 passenger cars and is capable to carry 425 passengers.
According to the schedule, the train will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from the Almaty-2 railway station at 18:32, and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 12:39 from the Tashkent Central Railway Station.
Earlier it was reported about the resumption of the passenger train services between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
