Auction for the land plot on which the Aggregate Plant was located on Usta Shirin Street in Almazar district of Tashkent was completed on the E-auksion trading platform.
The facility was bought by Build Power, which offered 208.7 billion soums, or $18.4 million for a lot at a starting price of 130.4 billion soums. Bidding lasted almost 47 minutes.
The State Assets Management Agency put the territory up for sale on March 13 this year. The 9.63-hectare site has buildings and structures on 52.9 thousand sq.m. Objects are on the balance sheets of Agregat Zavodi and Agregat Avtokomplekt.
In June 2020, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to move the Agregat plant to Chirchik and build 12, 14, 16-storeyed houses.
In July 2021, it was reported that agricultural machinery plants in Tashkent and Chirchik, the Tashkent Aggregate Plant, the Tekhnolog and UzKlaas Agro enterprises would be located in one place and united into an industrial cluster. It is planned to allocate 500 billion soums for its creation. These funds are planned to be returned through the sale of buildings and structures, land plots of enterprises through an auction.
Build Power was registered on November 19, 2021 in Tashkent and specilizes in the construction of residential buildings. The founders are Golden House Development (99%) and Boris Yakovlev (1%).
In December, a land plot in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, where a military camp was located on an area of 27.86 hectares, was bought by Dombrobod City Group, established on December 2, 11 days before the deal. Then the object was purchased for 266.4 billion soums. Build Power also participated in the auction.
