According to the State Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2022, the number of foreign-invested enterprises registered in Uzbekistan topped 14.1 thousand, of which 13.66 thousand are operating.
Reportedly, the number of foreign-invested enterprises increased by 1,417 to the same date last year.
Top-5 countries with most foreign-invested enterprises:
- Russia - 2,390;
- China - 1,967;
- Turkey – 1,961;
- Kazakhstan – 1,109;
- Korea Republic - 890.
Number of established foreign-invested enterprises in January-March 2021 by country:
- Russia - 107;
- Turkey - 95;
- Kazakhstan - 46;
- China – 45.
