Evacuating the Uzbek embassy in Kyiv is not being considered, the Foreign Ministry spokesman Yusup Kabulzhanov said on Wednesday.
“Given the situation in Ukraine, our main priority at present is to ensure the safe evacuation of all citizens of Uzbekistan,” the statement said.
"Relocating the embassy will significantly reduce the effectiveness of the steps," he added.
As reported earlier, a total of 1,186 people were delivered from Ukraine through Poland to Uzbekistan by the morning of March 2. Two more flights are expected on Wednesday. More than 800 citizens of Uzbekistan are now in Poland.
